1. Overview:
By purchasing from DG Exotics, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms ensure transparency, animal safety, and a smooth transaction. DG Exotics may update these terms at any time.

2. Eligibility to Purchase:
By placing an order, you confirm that:
•     You are at least 18 years old
•     You understand the care requirements of the species you are purchasing
•     You comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding exotic animal ownership
•     You have provided accurate shipping and contact information
DG Exotics may refuse a sale if proper care cannot be confirmed or if legal restrictions apply.

3. Animal Health & Representation:
All animals sold by DG Exotics are:
•     Healthy and feeding regularly
•     Accurately represented
•     Captive‑bred unless otherwise stated
Sexing is guaranteed only when listed as male or female. Animals listed as probable or possible are not guaranteed.

4. Payments:
DG Exotics accepts approved payment methods listed on our website or sales platform. Payment must be made in full before shipping.
•     All sales are final
•     No refunds for buyer’s remorse or changes of mind
•     Orders canceled before shipping may receive store credit only
Chargebacks filed without contacting DG Exotics first void all guarantees.

5. Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee:
DG Exotics ships only through approved carriers and only when temperatures are safe.
Live Arrival Guarantee applies only when:
•     Someone is present at the first delivery attempt
•     Or the package is picked up from a FedEx Hub within 2 hours
•     Temperatures are within DG Exotics’ safe‑shipping range
•     Issues are reported within 1 hour of delivery with photos/video
If all conditions are met and an animal arrives deceased or in poor condition, DG Exotics will provide:
•     A replacement animal of equal value (if available), or
•     Store credit for the value of the animal
Shipping costs are non‑refundable.
The guarantee does not apply during carrier delays, weather issues, or incorrect addresses.

6. Customer Responsibilities:
The buyer is responsible for:
•     Providing proper enclosure, heating, humidity, and diet
•     Following care recommendations
•     Ensuring the animal is legal in their area
•     Monitoring the animal’s health after arrival
DG Exotics is not responsible for issues caused by improper husbandry.

7. DOA & Issue Reporting:
Any Dead‑On‑Arrival (DOA) or health concerns must be reported within 1 hour of delivery with:
•     Clear photos
•     Unedited video
•     Proof of delivery time
Failure to provide required documentation voids all guarantees.

8. Returns & Refunds:
Due to the nature of live animals:
•     DG Exotics does not accept returns
•     No cash refunds are issued unless DG Exotics cancels the order
•     Store credit may be issued at DG Exotics’ discretion

9. Care Sheets & Support:
DG Exotics provides care sheets and husbandry guidance for all species sold. Buyers are encouraged to reach out with questions before or after purchase.

10. Liability:
DG Exotics is not liable for:
•     Injuries caused by the animal
•     Allergic reactions
•     Improper handling
•     Improper housing
•     Veterinary costs after arrival
By purchasing, the buyer assumes full responsibility for the animal’s care and safety.

11. Agreement:
By completing a purchase from DG Exotics, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
